Cleaning of tube coils
Overview
The parts cleaning of tube coils has its very own demands.
With tube lengths of up to 3 km and an internal diameter of one millimetre or less, adequate cleaning is a must. EVT has developed a process that makes it possible to clean such special tube coils without leaving any residue, which are used for example in medical technology but also in aerospace. In this process perchloroethylene is flushed through the coils at 400 bar pressure and then dried with nitrogen.
In addition to cleaning the inside of the tubes, it is also possible to combine internal and external cleaning of the coils with corresponding product carrier systems in one system.
The development of the process engineering approach, which allows even minimal “tubes” to be cleaned, creates a new level of safety in the manufacturing process of micromechanical application areas.
