Choosing the cleaning media
A degreasing or cleaning system only becomes the ideal solution for you when the right solvent is used.
It is only in conjunction with the right solvent that a plant becomes the ideal solution for your application. We will be happy to advise you on the various solvents available and their properties.
In order to select the right solvent, it is essential to consider the preceding and following work processes. If the next process is “welding”, then CHCs, which completely eliminate grease and oil, are the right choice. But if the following process is “packaging and storage”, then hydrocarbons, which leave behind a slight residual film of grease, may be preferable because of the protection they afford against corrosion.
In order to identify the best solution for your cleaning task, we cordially invite you to visit our test centre in Sternenfels, Germany. There we have a variety of plants for trials with different cleaning media.
