Cleaning of agitator containers

Overview

Quartz composite processing becomes more productive, safe and environmentally friendly.
Contaminated agitator containers in which adhesives, synthetic resin products or plastics have been mixed are often cleaned manually with the solvent methylene chloride (MC), also known as dichloromethane, in an open process.

MC is used, among other things, as an effective paint stripper, as a degreasing agent and as a solvent for resins, greases, plastics and bitumen, and is used, among other things, to remove potting and casting resins and to clean mixing and dosing equipment.

We have developed an alternative process for this requirement, which enables a cleaning process with the highly volatile MC in a closed system.

In this way, companies in the industry optimise their productivity, increase occupational safety and significantly reduce environmental pollution.

Not only the design of the system is unique, but also the process technology.

The customised, specific EVT special machine is not designed for classic cleaning and degreasing of components in working chambers.

Customized solution

The custom-made, customer-specific EVT special system is not designed for conventional cleaning and degreasing of components in working chambers.
Instead, the mixing containers are inserted into a custom-made device and locked in place. The solvent can be injected into the container through a special spray lance. A motor drives the agitator externally. In this way, the interior of the container as well as all components are completely cleaned and dried under metrological monitoring.

EVT does not use pump systems to remove the cleaning compound, as quartz composite residues are highly abrasive. Instead, the transport within the system is solved by means of pressure differences.

Thanks to the closed cleaning system, the user not only makes his process faster and more productive, but also significantly increases the workplace safety of his employees. In addition, he protects and preserves the environment, and solvent consumption is also drastically reduced.
